Meet Our President and CEO,
Destiny Quinones
Destiny Quinones knows how dynamic managed care contracting can be and how impactful it is to healthcare providers, insurers and, most importantly, patients. She started out in the early 2000s as a social worker and discharge planner at a Level I Trauma Center, then served as an admissions director in skilled nursing, where she learned about the balance of discharge planning, IT systems and tools, clinical practices, analytics, and more. Destiny joined MCCA in 2011 where she leveraged her contracting and credentialing expertise to grow the organization exponentially, becoming president in 2019 and then owner and chief executive officer in 2020.
Over those years, Destiny helped build a team of diverse professionals who represent some of the industry’s top managed care consulting leaders who hold decades of experience. Licensed nursing home administrators, certified case managers, certified CDC staff, licensed nurses and physical therapists are among the current team members who have worked at all levels of healthcare as facility leader, regional director and senior executives within large national post-acute health systems. In addition, MCCA’s support team reflects 20+ years in billing/collections, banking and trust work as well as disability adjudication and hearing officer experience.
Behind the team’s depth of knowledge is its trusted reputation among counterparts in the healthcare insurer community. The MCCA team’s ability to build and cultivate productive relationships is one of its greatest assets and evident in the caliber of contracts negotiated for clients.
